I want people to like me. What to do to improve any given situation? Terra, Wisconsin

Dear Terra,
I sense a feel of desperation. Do you think people don't like you? Do you think you are not worthy of being likable?
Are you afraid if someone doesn't like you, you will be miserable?
Who are the people you are talking about? Is it family, friends, or people on the street?

I believe you are a sensitive person who gives everything and doesn't demand anything back. Then your soul gets frustrated and says what is this? I give everything and want people to like me, to recognize me, and it seems like they don't even give their love back.

First , you need to change your state of mind in order to resolve your question in a perfect way.
- you have to like yourself
- be proud of what you do and are
- you don't need to please everyone
- you don't need for everyone to like you to get approvals
- don't feel so desperate for people to like you
- the ones who know you truly, will like you
- the ones who don't know you, or may dislike you, let them be
- you only need the love of worthy ones

Second, If you like to maximize the love that you already require within yourself and need to enhance the relationships then, you can look into things like:
- projecting positive body language
- smile and communicate with people
- show your interest about their life
- offer your help, if and when you are truly like to help. Not just because you want them to like you.

Third:
- be confident of who you are and like to be
- believe in your deeds
- do things for what you like, of what you want to do
- say "No" politely when you don't want to do something for others
- don't be afraid of losing their love
- If they don't come back to you, then you made a right decision of standing up to yourself
- always listen to your deep inside feeling
- protect the inner self by standing up to what it does not feel right for you
- be a fighter for your soul
- don't let people walk around you, to get their love

Love comes easily and freely. Love comes when you are in tune with yourself. Love comes when you are honest to yourself. Wake-up and feel the true meaning of people and love.

Conclusion: You can't please everyone. You have to please yourself first, then others with the same interest will follow you. This will be the ultimate true liking you can achieve in life.
